Virtual author visits

Connecting with students and teachers is my favorite part of being an author, so contact me to invite me to your classroom if you're a teacher!

I'm schedule for the 2023 school year is full, but I will start booking again for fall. For the 2023/24 school year, I charge $150 for a virtual author visit up to an hour. This includes a 20-25 minute talk on how a book goes from idea to printed book, plus ample time for Q&A.

No budget or too busy for scheduling? I have recorded my talk so you and your students can watch it when convenient.

COMING SOON: I've also recorded a short 10-minute mystery story writing activity to use in your classroom or home school.

literacy Conference Speaking

Children's literacy is my mission, and I have a particular passion for reaching reluctant readers. I have an extensively researched presentation, 5 Ways to Reach Reluctant Readers, which I have presented both virtually and in person at events like Fay B. Kaigler Children's Book Festival and CCIRA.

For full details on speaking fees, travel and scheduling, you can find my speaking kit here.

Testimonials:

"Fleur's presentation was well-prepared, thorough, and perfectly-structured and she took the time to answer all participants' questions. She was engaging, approachable, and informative. If it wasn't already evident from her top-notch novels, Fleur is passionate about children's literature, has impeccable craft, and knows her stuff!"
-Justin Colón, owner of The Kidlit Hive

"Our patrons were so pleased with the virtual writing workshop Fleur taught for Arapahoe Libraries. It was interactive, engaging, and dug into the elements of writing mysteries so that participants left with tools for writing their own."
-Kara Seal, Senior Events Specialist, Teens and Tweens, Arapahoe Libraries, CO

“I would highly recommend Fleur Bradley for a school visit. Her presentations can be tailored to your specific needs and tie in nicely to the grade level audience. (..) A great experience for students and staff.”
-Mr. Mavel, EL Coordinator and Lead Mentor, Banning Lewis Ranch Academy

“Amazing! This was a great talk on a topic that you usually don't hear from an author. Very unique and approachable and inspiring. Thanks for the boost!"
